Job Description:
- Record and post all daily financial transactions, including receipts, sales, and payments, into accounting software.
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements with the general ledger on a regular basis.
- Assist with payroll processing by gathering and tracking data.
- Prepare and file financial documents to maintain an organized and up-to-date system.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Provide support for audits by compiling and submitting required documentation.
- Enter and manage financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Generate basic financial reports as requested by management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve discrepancies and clarify information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks preferred.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Comfort with basic arithmetic and numbers.
