Leer is looking for a motivated individual to join our Team! We are currently searching for a Painter and offer competitive pay and benefits. Shift: 9:00am - 5:30pm, with overtime as needed. Responsibilities: Prep units, which includes washing units, drying seams, checking for/repairing dents, taping breakers, checking and following paperwork Paint units Change out paints Clean paint and wash equipment Repair damaged units Use proper technique using putty and fillers Perform paint PMs as assigned Conduct paint Inventory Must be willing to work schedule as assigned by supervisor or lead Work on front assembly line as required All other duties as assigned Qualifications Must understand and be able to follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements Must possess a cooperative attitude Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision Must be able to understand and execute instructions Must be able to operate the washer and painting equipment Must have high attention to detail Must be able to wear all safety equipment, including a breathable air hood and half masks Experience painting is a plus! Essential Functions: Must be willing and able to work in warm environment during summer months Ability to lift/push pull 50-100 lbs., plus on a continual basis. Ability to reach overhead and/or above shoulder height frequently. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to use repetitive motions. Self starter with the ability to work as a team as well Ability to be on time and at work on a daily basis. Must have a flexible work schedule.
