The Role
As a Flooring Project Manager, you'll oversee multiple installation projects from award through completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams while keeping projects running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple flooring and countertop installation projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate project schedules, labor, materials, and subcontractors.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and installation crews.
- Resolve project issues quickly to minimize delays.
- Track project budgets, costs, and change orders.
- Ensure projects are completed on time while exceeding client expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Project Manager within the flooring, interiors, or construction industry.
- Experience managing multifamily residential projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of flooring and/or countertop installation processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to local job sites.
