Job Description: Overview
Elite Learners, Inc. is looking for enthusiastic Group Leaders to supervise and engage participants in daily afterschool activities. The Group Leader plays a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Responsibilities:
- Youth Engagement: Lead and supervise groups of participants in structured and recreational activities. Support implementation of lesson plans under guidance of Activity and Content Specialists.
- Safety and Behavior Management: Maintain appropriate supervision ratios and enforce safety protocols. Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution.
- Program Support: Assist in setup, cleanup, and material preparation for activities. Communicate with families and staff to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age 18; at least two years of experience working with children under 13.
- Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions: Part-time, typically 10–20 hours per week; must be available during program hours (afternoons, after school)
Pay: $19.00 per hour
