Description:*Hybrid in Merrimack, NH* The Database Administration team supports the Brokerage Db2 database platform on z/OS. The team handles end to end application DBA support including physical database design, deployment, data replication, on-call support 8-8pm 1x per 2 months.Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2Responsibilities:Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environmentMaintenance of Databases – Utilities managementProviding 24x7 on-call supportReview of Sql/Programs against standards and Performance tuningExperience Requirements:Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database EnvironmentExperience supporting IBM IIDR data replication tools: Q Replication and/or CDC ReplicationExtensive Experience in SQL, REXX, JCL, COBOLWorking knowledge of CA Database ToolsWorking Knowledge of Performance tuning, Database Security and Access managementExposure to distributed database technologies and cloudBrokerage Back-office knowledgeEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent with 10 years relevant experienceSkills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
