Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Db2 z/OS Database Administrator. Responsibilities:
- Providing Application Database and Replication support for a large DB2 z/OS sysplex environment
- Maintenance of Databases - Utilities management
- Providing 24x7 on-call support
- Review of SQL/programs against standards and Performance tuning
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large complex Database Environment
- Experience supporting IBM IIDR data replication tools: Q Replication and/or CDC Replication
- Extensive Experience in SQL, REXX, JCL, COBOL
- Working knowledge of CA Database Tools
- Working Knowledge of Performance tuning, Database Security and Access management
- Exposure to distributed database technologies and cloud
- Brokerage back-office knowledge
