Elford is seeking an experienced Project Executive to provide senior-level leadership across complex construction projects from preconstruction through completion. What You’ll Do
Preconstruction Leadership
Lead assigned projects during preconstruction, coordinating owners, consultants, and internal teams to ensure a strong project kickoff aligned with client objectives
Facilitate internal preconstruction kickoff meetings and owner/consultant pre-start meetings
Partner with Marketing and Business Development to support pursuits and communicate Elford’s preconstruction capabilities
Oversee budgeting, value engineering efforts, and cost controls from early design through GMP
Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to evaluate design alternatives and cost impacts
Develop and review preliminary construction schedules and milestone deliverables
Prepare and present monthly budget and schedule status reports
Project Executive Oversight (During Construction)
Provide executive-level oversight of project execution, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, schedule, and budget
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and communication plans across owners, designers, and Elford teams
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Owners and Architects
Meet regularly with owner and design leadership to address issues proactively and ensure expectations are met
Provide feedback to senior leadership regarding client satisfaction and project performance
Relationship Building & Business Support
Strengthen relationships with owners, architects, and design professionals within target markets
Support business development efforts by identifying future opportunities with existing and prospective clients
Collaborate on major project presentations and pursuits beyond hard-bid environments
Partner internally with estimating, project management, and operations to ensure capacity alignment and successful delivery
What We’re Looking For
10 years of construction industry experience, including 5–6 years in senior project management, estimating, or project executive roles
Proven experience leading large, complex projects and owner relationships
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, schedules, and risk
Ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
Willingness to travel as needed to support projects
