The Temporary Export Associate supports export operations through end-to-end handling of outbound export shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, system updates, and physical shipment preparation in a fast-paced environment.
Must-have/Required Skills
- Ability to independently lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation handling
- Comfortable using internal systems and standard office software such as Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS platforms
- Effective communication skills with team members and external partners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to prepare, organize, and process export shipments in accordance with company procedures and export regulations
- Ability to accurately enter and maintain Air Waybill (AWB) details and shipment information within internal systems
- Ability to upload, organize, and verify export paperwork including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels
- Ability to safely handle, move, and weigh outbound shipments
- Ability to adhere to export control laws, company policies, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to coordinate with warehouse staff, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipment dispatch
- Prior experience in export operations, logistics, or warehouse environments
- Familiarity with Air Waybill (AWB) processes and export documentation
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and trade compliance requirements
- Prepare, organize, and process export shipments in accordance with company procedures and export regulations.
- Accurately enter and maintain Air Waybill (AWB) details and shipment information within internal tracking and management systems.
- Upload, organize, and verify required export paperwork including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- Safely handle, move, and weigh outbound shipments as part of the export preparation process.
- Adhere to export control laws, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate shipment dispatch.
- Maintain shipment traceability and documentation accuracy.
- Support export operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
