Job Title: Drafting/CAD Technician II
Location: Christiansburg, VA
Duration: 7 Months Contract
Top 3 Required Skills:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D CAD software)
- Strong problem-solving and design skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Must-Have Skills:
- SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD proficiency
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Technical drawing creation and updates
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maintain, organize, and oversee plant drawing management systems.
- Ensure project documentation (drawings, spare parts, procedures, schedules) is accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to design and develop manufacturing equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of equipment issues using technical drawings.
- Apply technical design skills to improve processes and support cost-reduction projects.
Salary : $25 - $27
