What You'll Do
- Participate in cross-functional teams within the plant to enhance performance in manufacturing efficiency, supply chain operations, and customer service.
- Use strong system skills, analytical abilities, and business knowledge to examine the effectiveness of manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and communicate conclusions.
- Determine scope of improvement projects; initiate and lead improvement projects as necessary.
- Develop reports and analysis for continuous improvement.
- Support new system implementation projects and initiatives within the Supply Chain department.
- Support packaging and warehouse activities, including: Process improvements in shipping and receiving, Optimizing warehouse storage solutions, Improving packaging efficiencies
- Create, modify, improve, and support business reports and queries for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functional groups.
- Analyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency of functions and systems.
- Perform work in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment.
- Observe safe work practices and proactively report unsafe conditions.

- Ability to use Microsoft Office software applications (Excel and Access).
- Willing to work 6AM–2PM (hours may change based on the needs of the business).
- Demonstrated effective communication, both written and verbal, throughout all levels of the organization.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership ability.
- Ability to influence others in a matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working Schedule (days/times): Monday to Friday 8-5pm
- 2–5 years experience in Supply Chain.
- Degree in Supply Chain or APICS certification preferred.
- Experience, training, or certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma/Performance Excellence.
- Green Belt certification preferred.
- Understanding of Cable Products, Materials, and Manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Thrives within both autonomous and team working atmospheres.
