We're partnering with a growing industrial technology and services company that is in a significant growth stage. Over the past several years, the business has expanded rapidly, invested in new technology platforms, implemented a new ERP system, and continues to develop innovative solutions that are changing how work is performed across industrial and infrastructure environments.

As growth continues, they're looking for an experienced Project Accountant who can help bring structure, visibility, and accountability to project financials.

This is not a role where every process is already built. The right person will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, improving processes, partnering with operations, and helping leadership better understand project performance across the business.

What You'll Own

• Manage project financials from project setup through completion
• Navigate complex project P&L's with milestone & WIP billing
• Track project costs, budgets, margins, and profitability
• Monitor actuals versus budget and investigate variances
• Partner closely with project managers and operational leaders
• Support forecasting and project financial reporting
• Maintain project data and financial records within the ERP system
• Build reporting tools and improve visibility into project performance
• Leverage Excel and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities
• Help establish and improve processes as the company continues to scale

What They're Looking For

• 4 years of experience in accounting. Ideally project or cost accounting
• Experience with milestone billing, progress billing, phased billing, percentage-of-completion billing, or similar project-based invoicing models
• Strong understanding of job costing and project financial reporting
• ERP experience required (system is not important)
• Ideally strong excel skills
