IT Support Specialist - Tomball, TX (On-Site - Full time)
An expanding U.S.-based manufacturing organization in the renewable energy industry is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join its growing team in Tomball, TX.
You'll play a key role supporting both office and production employees while gaining exposure to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Set up, configure, and deploy computers, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment
- Create and manage user accounts, email access, and system permissions
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment assignments, and software licenses
- Provide day-to-day technical support for office and production staff
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, login, access, and connectivity issues
- Support printers, scanners, and other office technology
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective
- Maintain IT documentation, processes, and equipment records
- Respond to employee questions and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate across departments to support evolving business needs
What We're Looking For
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of IT Support, Help Desk, or similar experience
- Experience supporting end users in a Windows-based environment
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, user account administration, and basic networking
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to stay organized while managing equipment inventory and support requests
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Experience using IT asset management or ticketing systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Chinese (not required)
