HR Generalist - Tomball, TX (On-Site) (Full-time)
A growing U.S.-based manufacturing organization is seeking an HR Generalist – Staffing & Workforce Planning to support their team.
This is a highly impactful role focused on staffing strategy, agency coordination, and onboarding for a large manufacturing workforce. You’ll partner closely with production leadership to ensure the right people are in place at the right time to meet operational demand.
What You’ll Do
- Lead staffing efforts for manufacturing and production roles through third-party staffing agencies
- Partner with production leaders to forecast workforce needs based on schedules, demand, and project timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staffing agencies and labor vendors
- Oversee onboarding and new hire orientation for production and warehouse employees
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and labor regulations
- Support employee relations, HR inquiries, payroll questions, and benefits guidance
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and workforce integration efforts
- Provide backup support for payroll processing for direct employees
- Support additional HR administrative and operational needs as required
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in HR, staffing, or workforce coordination (manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred)
- Experience working with staffing agencies or contingent workforce models
- Strong understanding of onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred (not required)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple staffing priorities
Language Requirement
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) strongly preferred/required
