JOB TITLE: CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

General Description
Results-driven, detail-oriented, and reliable team player to provide civil/structural engineering support to assigned projects as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering and project execution team.
Responsibilities
- Reports directly to Director of Engineering for work process and job assignments.
- Meets or exceeds the safety standards of the company and/or client.
- Manages their time to progress work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Works with a team of discipline engineers to support the development of deliverables.
- Develops and presents deliverables accurately and within project timeframe and budgets.
- Ensures drawings and engineering documents are accurate and complete in accordance with industry standards and codes.
- Develops engineering documents, working drawings, and writes specifications for project components ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
- Reviews interdisciplinary designs and technical issues to ensure the most effective and efficient design.
- Demonstrates knowledge of procedures and practical application of skills.
- Reviews soil investigation reports to implement geotechnical recommendations for foundations and/or structures.
- Develops calculations and analytical models for steel and concrete foundations and/or structures based on applicable design parameters.
- Develops civil and structural details supported by calculations and sound engineering judgement.
- Provides technical support during construction for civil and structural activities.
- Brings solutions to complex problems and implements them in their designs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably on EPC projects in oil & gas industry.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T) certification required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license a plus.
- Knowledge of civil/engineering codes and standards, including ACI 318, AISC 360, ASCE 7-16 & IBC.
- Proven success in developing and executing projects, including objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Working knowledge of CADWorx/AutoCAD a plus.
- Working knowledge of RISA or equivalent modeling software a plus.
- Working knowledge of MathCAD or equivalent software a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent software a plus.
- Tenacious, results oriented approach to work, with high quality work standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
