CNC Programmer- EdgeCAM

Spring, TX | Full-time | On-site | Overtime eligible

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer who wants more ownership than simply editing an existing program or making adjustments at the machine.

NICE TO HAVES: if you've used EdgeCAM and if you've worked with HMB machines.

You will take parts from engineering drawings and models through programming, tooling strategy, setup development, prove-out and production optimization. The work supports complex, high-value equipment used in demanding offshore and subsea environments where accuracy, reliability and traceability matter.

What you will be doing

• Develop, modify and maintain CNC programs using both ESPRIT & EdgeCAM
• Translate engineering drawings, specifications and models into accurate machining programs
• Determine machining sequences, tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds and setup requirements
• Support program prove-outs, first runs and troubleshooting directly with machinists and production
• Evaluate parts for manufacturability, machine capability and the most efficient production approach
• Improve cycle time, tool life, quality, repeatability and overall machine utilization
• Create and maintain setup documentation, operating procedures and program revision control
• Work closely with manufacturing engineering, planning, quality and production teams
• Support new equipment, software updates, machine connectivity and manufacturing technology improvements
• Provide technical direction or mentoring to other programmers and machinists at the senior level

What they are looking for

The clearest fit is someone who can independently take a part from print or model through a reliable production process.

• Strong hands-on experience programming CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment
• EdgeCAM is a big plus
• Exposure with HMB machines would be a big plus as well

Level can be adjusted based on experience. For the senior opening, the current target is approximately 6–15 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
