EIG Property Management is seeking a Full Time Seasonal Grounds Crew Lead. As a Lead Grounds Worker, you play a key role in making our apartment communities a great place to live. The Grounds Worker is a “hands on” member of our team whose focus is curb appeal!
Responsibilities
- Drive company trucks and trailers with grounds equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transport.
- Manage the 3-person grounds crew.
- Responsible for litter cleanup removal from all public exterior areas
- Lawn mowing and other lawn care duties
- Spring & Fall cleanup
- Responsible for care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company related to grounds work.
- Responsible for light/basic tree and bush trimming
- Assists maintenance staff as requested, including but not limited to, preventative maintenance to buildings, moving appliances, inspections or assisting in turning vacant units, bringing trash out, and whatever is needed.
- Responsible for the overall upkeep of the property landscape and the exterior image which includes cleaning of the driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, exterior hallways, or any other public areas; maintenance of property flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas; snow removal.
- Advanced lawn care, such as aerating, over-seeding, tree felling, retaining wall maintenance/installation and shrub trimming
Skills
- Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Experience with landscaping projects
- Drivers license and ability to drive company vehicle
- Ability to use Smart phone and computer, including email and various apps
- Attention to detail, time management and trustworthiness
- High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
