Responsibilities
- The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or corequisite support courses for undergraduate students, including preparing instructional materials, pacing, and assessment.
Necessary Education or Work Experience:
- For corequisite courses: BA/BS in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related discipline.
- For undergraduate courses: MA/MS, ABD, or earned doctorate in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related discipline. (Including at least 18 credits of graduate level mathematics).
- An enthusiastic, reflective approach to teaching.
- Ability to engage all students in developing the skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to reach their learning goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with department colleagues and others on campus.
- Proficiency in the use of technology, such as learning management systems and online homework platforms.
