The Department of Biological Sciences at Edgewood University invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach anatomy and physiology in the Fall of 2026. The incumbent will teach both the lecture and lab components of Anatomy and Physiology 2.
Course Description
This course has a traditional, face-to-face format that is managed though an online LMS. Lecture is three days a week for one hour. Each section of lab meets for 2 hours per week. This course is the study of structure and function of the endocrine, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, urinary, and reproductive systems of the human body.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and grading formative and summative assessments. They will also be expected to work with other instructors to ensure alignment between sections.

Job Qualifications
Necessary Education or Work Experience:
- Candidates must have a master’s degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field; a PhD is preferred.
- Experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology is highly preferred.
