The Biology Department invites applications from instructors interested in teaching introductory cell biology (including lab) and a microbiology lecture in a face-to-face format.
Responsibilities
Instructors would be responsible for planning, implementing, and grading formative and summative assessments in lecture and lab. They will also be expected to work with other instructors to ensure alignment between different sections of a course. All courses are managed through an online LMS (Canvas) and instructors are expected to maintain an updated course site throughout the semester.
Job Qualifications
Necessary Education or Work Experience:
Candidates must have a master’s degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field; a PhD is preferred. Previous experience teaching at the college level is highly preferred. The candidate must actively support the mission of the college by working with faculty, staff and students to share in our core values – truth, compassion, justice, partnership, and community.
