Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Bridgewater, MA
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Shift: First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Job Summary

The Production Associate is responsible for the precision fabrication of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and other rigid foam materials. This role focuses on creating custom-shaped thermal and protective liners for shipping containers to ensure the integrity of temperature-sensitive or fragile goods during transit through major logistics networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Cutting & Shaping:
• Measure and cut polystyrene sheets into specific dimensions and complex shapes using hot wires and manual cutting tools to meet exact shipping box specifications.
• Template Utilization:

Read and interpret technical blueprints or digital templates to produce pre-molded shippers and inner protection components for various product types, such as medical supplies or perishables.

• Component Assembly:

Glue or laminate corrugated parts with foam inserts to create multi-layered protective packaging used by major carriers for maximum inner protection.Inspect finished foam inserts for dimensional accuracy and structural integrity, ensuring they meet ISTA or carrier-mandated testing procedures.Monitor material waste and assist in machine setup to maximize yield from polystyrene blocks or sheets.Required Skills &

High level of accuracy in measuring (down to millimeters) to ensure a precise fit within outer corrugated boxes.

Strict adherence to safety guidelines when handling adhesives, chemicals, and high-speed cutting tools.Physical Requirements
