Our Client a prestigious law firm is looking for an experienced Fund Finance Associate to join its growing Fund Finance practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated attorney with 3-6 years of experience in fund finance and related areas to take on significant responsibility and work with top-tier clients, including leading banks, asset managers, and lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex fund finance transactions, including syndicated lending, commercial lending, leveraged finance, and NAV financings.
- Advise clients on fund formation, CLOs, asset-based lending, and acquisition financings.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key financing documents.
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients on deal structuring and strategy.
- Build relationships with preeminent financial institutions, asset managers, and lending clients.
- Provide insightful legal counsel in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior associates.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from a top law school with strong academic credentials.
- 3-6 years of experience at a law firm or in-house, specializing in fund finance, syndicated lending, leveraged finance, CLOs, or acquisition financings.
- Strong technical expertise in fund finance transactions, including asset-based lending, NAV financings, and fund formation.
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
