Room Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and in good condition.
• Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and other amenities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and handling hazardous materials safely.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and floor care is essential.
• Experience in janitorial or custodial roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
