How You'll Make An Impact
- Perform hands-on quality inspections of UAV systems, assemblies, subassemblies, payloads, cables, accessories, and production hardware.
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical assemblies for workmanship, fit, finish, configuration, labeling, completeness, and compliance with internal requirements.
- Execute incoming, in-process, final, and pre-shipment inspection checklists.
- Document inspection results clearly and accurately, including defects, rework needs, missing components, and nonconformances.
- Work with production, engineering, supply chain, and quality leadership to resolve inspection findings.
- Verify that systems are properly configured, serialized, labeled, documented, and ready for shipment.
- Support RMA inspections by documenting returned hardware condition, visible damage, missing components, and suspected failure points.
- 2 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, production, hardware testing, assembly, field service, electronics, aerospace, robotics, or a related hands-on technical role.
- Comfortable with mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical hardware.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow inspection procedures and checklists.
- Ability to document findings clearly using photos, notes, forms, spreadsheets, ERP/MRP systems, or quality tracking tools.
- Basic familiarity with hand tools, measurement tools, production hardware, cables, connectors, labels, fasteners, and assemblies.
- Ability to work on-site full-time at our Brooklyn facility
