The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Qualifications
- 3 years of HVAC service experience preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
- NATE Certification is a plus
