How You'll Make An Impact
- Design and implement quality inspection processes for UAV systems, electro-mechanical assemblies, cable assemblies, PCBs, payload interfaces, accessories, and production hardware.
- Develop and execute on incoming, in-process, final, pre-shipment, and RMA inspection procedures.
- Build practical tools, fixtures, jigs, test boxes, harnesses, and electro-mechanical setups to improve inspection accuracy and efficiency.
- Design or support design of simple PCBs, test circuits, adapters, harnesses, and diagnostic tools used to verify electrical components and assemblies.
- Define inspection criteria for workmanship, configuration, labeling, serialization, mechanical fit, electrical continuity, functional behavior, and production readiness.
- Work with cross functional teams to make processes repeatable, rigorous, efficient, and easy to execute.
- Train production and quality personnel on inspection methods, use of test fixtures, documentation requirements, and quality standards.
- Perform hands-on inspections, troubleshooting, and hardware verification when needed.
- Help build the quality infrastructure required to scale production while maintaining reliability and consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, hardware engineering, production engineering, or a related role.
- Experience designing test fixtures, jigs, harnesses, test boxes, or manufacturing diagnostic tools.
- Experience using lab and test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, continuity testers, crimp tools, torque tools, or other diagnostic equipment.

- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, defense manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, or regulated quality environments.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, quality management systems, defect tracking tools, or manufacturing dashboards.
- Familiarity with Python, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, automated test scripts, or simple data acquisition tools is a plus.
