Maintenance Technician

Location: Irvine, CA (On-site)

Schedule: Full-time | Monday – Friday

Pay Rate: $30/hour

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a residential property operations team in Irvine, CA. This hands-on role supports general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of apartment units and community areas, helping to ensure residents enjoy the highest quality living experience.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing service requests, preparing apartments for new residents, and maintaining the overall condition of the community. This is an essential role that requires a balance of technical skills, safety awareness, and excellent customer service.

• Perform general maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, painting, electrical, appliance repair, hazardous material abatement, and other skilled trade work.
• Complete service requests and unit turnovers in a timely and high-quality manner.
• Maintain and inspect common areas and grounds to ensure they meet company standards and safety guidelines.
• Proactively identify and resolve maintenance issues and potential hazards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and appliances.
• Follow all safety procedures, attend required safety training, and promote safe work practices.
• Perform porter duties and assist with community cleanliness as needed.

Smaller Communities:

• May work independently and handle both service requests and unit turnovers.

Larger Communities:

• May work as part of a team, focusing on either service requests or unit turns.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related trade preferred.
• Proficient in general maintenance tasks across multiple trades.
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities a plus.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (on-call availability required).
• Ability to lift up to 77 lbs., push/pull up to 118 lbs., and perform physical labor such as crawling, kneeling, ladder climbing, and working in overhead positions.
• Must complete and pass a pulmonary exam and respirator fit test.

• 100% on-site role at a residential community.
• May require exposure to weather conditions, heights, and confined spaces.
• Work is physical in nature and performed both indoors and outdoors.
