POSITION: Adjunct Faculty - Psychology

DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Psychology

PAY RANGE: $450 - $1,300 per semester credit hour (SCH). Faculty are contracted per SCH. Actual compensation within this range is determined by factors including academic credentials, relevant professional experience, discipline, and course enrollment. Courses with lower enrollment may be prorated within this range in accordance with university policy.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate degree in psychology or a related field. Doctoral degree in psychology preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the EMU psychology program, teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester. Include the following:

In-person teaching
Undergraduate courses including, but not limited to:
- PSYC 101: General Psychology (fall)
- PSYC 481: Psychology Career and Internship Preparation (fall & spring)
- PSYC 483: Psychology Internship (fall & spring)

APPOINTMENT DATE: Fall & spring semesters, August 2026 - May 2027. Position begins as early as August 18, 2026. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
