POSITION: Adjunct Faculty
DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Engineering
PAY RANGE: $450 - $1,300 per semester credit hour (SCH). Faculty are contracted per SCH. Actual compensation within this range is determined by factors including academic credentials, relevant professional experience, discipline, and course enrollment. Courses with lower enrollment may be prorated within this range in accordance with university policy.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
RESPONSIBILITIES: To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the engineering program, teaching up to 9 semester credit hours per semester. Include the following:
- In-person teaching
- Undergraduate courses
- ENGR 380 - Systems (Fall 2026)
- CE 370 - Digital Circuits (Spring 2027)
- ENGR 156 - Math for Engineering Lab (Spring 2027)
- ENGR 295 - Intermediate Engineering Design (Spring 202
APPOINTMENT DATE: Fall & spring semesters, August 2026 - May 2027. Position begins as early as August 18, 2026. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
