What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Driver- Palm Bay Adult Day Training Program position at Easter Seals Florida?
Pay Rate: $16.39 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM (up to 20 hours per week; schedule may vary based on program and coverage needs)
Easterseals Florida is seeking a responsible, courteous, and service-driven Van Driver to support our Palm Bay Adult Day Training program. In this role, you will safely transport program participants between their homes and our center, ensuring a positive and respectful experience for every passenger.

What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate program vehicles and strictly adhere to all motor vehicle laws, policies, and procedures
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers at all times
- Conduct and document required pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any safety concerns or vehicle maintenance needs to your supervisor
- Treat all passengers with dignity, respect, and exceptional customer service
- Assist with additional pick-ups and/or drop-offs as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned vehicles
- Complete and submit daily attendance and mileage logs accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least six months of related experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Minimum age of 21 (required to operate company vehicles)
- Ability to meet Easterseals Florida's approved driver qualifications, including a good driving history
- Flexibility to adjust hours as needed for program coverage
