Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm
Easterseals Florida is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to provide warm, energetic, and professional customer service while delivering essential administrative support to our Early Childhood team in the Explorer Academy in Daytona Beach. Serving as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff, this role plays a vital part in creating a welcoming, organized, and compliant environment that supports children, families, and the Easterseals Florida's mission. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered setting while balancing administrative responsibilities with excellent customer service.

A snapshot of what you'll be doing:
- Serves as the first point of contact, welcoming Easterseals clients, visitors, and staff and providing assistance as needed
- Maintains professional communication via phone, email, and in person
- Performs general administrative duties including answering phones, filing, copying, and report generation
- Collects Early Childhood Center fees and prepares deposits in accordance with accounting procedures
- Ensures accurate child check-in/check-out and maintains attendance records in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements
- Uploads and manages required documentation in ProCare, ensuring timely completion and parent signatures
- Documents and reports accidents and incidents in ProCare
- Responds promptly to parent and staff inquiries and communicates documentation requirements to ensure compliance prior to entry
- Maintains an accurate waitlist using the Easterseals data management system
- Ensures the front lobby is clean, welcoming, and that all visitors, vendors, and contractors are properly signed in and out
- Collaborates with the Director to create and maintain newsletter content as requested
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- 1–2 years of administrative or general office experience required
- Previous experience in a preschool or daycare setting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to organize time, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Demonstrates integrity, tact, professionalism, and sound judgment
- An energetic, resourceful and professional individual who will promote a positive, respectful and team-based environment
