Eagle Vision One is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team.

What You'll Do
As an Optometric Assistant, you'll work alongside our doctors to provide exceptional care and help patients through every step of their visit. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients for their eye examinations by reviewing medical history and performing preliminary testing.
- Conducting diagnostic testing, including visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, retinal imaging, and other specialized testing.
- Assisting providers during patient examinations.
- Educating patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and proper care.
- Maintaining, cleaning, and calibrating diagnostic equipment.
- Accurately documenting patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Creating a welcoming, positive experience by answering patient questions and providing outstanding customer service.

Previous experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or another healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
Applicants selected for an interview will complete an aptitude assessment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning electronic medical records.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
