As our clinic continues to grow, we are looking for an Optometric Technician who will play a key role in delivering excellent patient care while helping maintain an efficient, positive clinic environment. You would be an integral part of our team and expected to represent our clinic with professionalism, compassion, and outstanding customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is fun to work with, eager to learn, and motivated to grow with our team. This is primarily an Optometric Technician position, and previous experience in an optometric, medical, or healthcare office setting is strongly preferred. Prior optometric technician experience is highly valued, but we are also willing to train the right individual who is adaptable, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced patient care environment.

- Previous optometric technician or healthcare experience (highly preferred)

Optometric Technician / Office Assistant Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Complete all pre-exam testing and patient workups
- Perform special testing as needed
- Assist with patient flow and help maintain clinic efficiency throughout the day
- Professionally interact with patients, clinic manager, doctor(s), and team members
- Help accommodate emergency eye care visits and complex medical cases within the daily schedule
- Maintain contact lens inventory and assist with contact lens ordering and management
- Cross-train in front desk, insurance, and optical duties in order to support overall clinic workflow and patient needs as needed
- Assist other departments when necessary to ensure excellent patient care and efficient office operations
- Maintain accurate documentation and attention to detail in all aspects of patient care
- Additional responsibilities may be adapted or added as needed
At the doctor's discretion, an individual review may take place after 90 days to evaluate responsibilities and performance.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation depends on experience and will start between $16–$19 per hour.
