Our client is a fast-growing fashion jewelry and accessories brand based in Manhattan, working with major national retailers, private label customers, and overseas factory partners.
They are seeking a highly organized Production & Sourcing Coordinator to support overseas factory communication, production timelines, costing, approvals, quality control, and delivery execution.
This person will help keep production moving across a high-SKU, fast-paced jewelry and accessories business. The right candidate is detail-oriented, highly responsive, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple factories, styles, deadlines, and priorities at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overseas production lifecycle from purchase order through delivery.
- Communicate regularly with overseas factories on timelines, costing, approvals, production status, and shipment deadlines.
- Track production milestones and ensure deadlines are clearly documented and followed.
- Support costing, samples, approvals, components, packaging, and production updates.
- Monitor quality control issues and work with factories to resolve problems quickly.
- Partner with sales, logistics, design, and operations to keep orders moving.
- Identify production risks early and escalate issues with clear solutions.
- Maintain organized records of factory communication, order status, approvals, and open issues.
- Support private label and retailer development timelines.
- Help create more structure, reporting, and accountability across the production process.
Ideal Background
- 3–5 years of production, sourcing, supply chain, or product development experience.
- Experience in jewelry, accessories, fashion, or apparel strongly preferred.
- Overseas factory management or overseas vendor communication experience required.
- Strong understanding of production timelines, costing, approvals, QC, and shipment coordination.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ERP or production tracking system experience preferred; ApparelMagic is a plus.
- Manhattan-based or NYC-area candidate preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Compensation
$75,000–$85,000 base compensation, with final range based on experience.
