We are looking for a highly organized, resourceful, and taste-driven Production & Sourcing Coordinator to support small-batch jewelry manufacturing and sourcing operations in NYC.
This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience in jewelry production, sourcing, or development who can manufacture small batches of jewelry, source specialized components across NYC, and bring a strong eye for elevated, minimal design while staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
The right person is hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and deeply familiar with the NYC jewelry district and local vendor network.
What You’ll Do
- Source jewelry components, findings, stones, chains, specialty pieces, and materials throughout NYC
- Coordinate and support small-batch jewelry production from concept through completion
- Work closely with the founder and lead designer to execute new product ideas quickly and accurately
- Identify and maintain relationships with local vendors, manufacturers, and specialty suppliers
- Assist with prototype development, sample coordination, and production troubleshooting
- Organize and track materials, components, timelines, and production status across multiple projects
- Ensure products align with an elevated, minimal luxe aesthetic and strong quality standards
- Support fast-turn development requests and changing business priorities
- Help maintain organization across inventory, sourcing references, samples, and production materials
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in jewelry production, sourcing, product development, or related field
- Strong knowledge of NYC jewelry vendors, sourcing resources, and manufacturing network
- Excellent taste level and understanding of elevated minimal fashion jewelry aesthetics
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on mentality with willingness to jump into both creative and operational tasks
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with fashion jewelry brands
- Familiarity with jewelry assembly or bench work
- Understanding of materials, plating, stones, and jewelry construction techniques
- Experience sourcing specialty or hard-to-find components on tight timelines
