We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at working with vendors to meet production and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the purchase of goods and services in a timely and cost-efficient manner
- Evaluate vendor capabilities, performance, and reliability
- Identify, develop, and maintain qualified sources of supply
- Prepare and maintain purchasing documents, purchase orders, and related records
- Track and manage inventory to support production needs
- Expedite vendor delivery based on production schedules and due dates
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supply delays or issues
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong computer proficiency (ERP/MRP systems preferred)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
