Position Summary:
The Warehouse Order Picker/Packer selects, packs, and prepares customer orders for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow standard procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately using pick lists or scanners
- Pack products securely and label boxes correctly
- Verify items against order sheets
- Prepare packages for shipping (weighing, labeling, sealing)
- Restock shelves and keep inventory organized
- Assist with unloading and storing incoming shipments
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures
- Communicate with supervisors about any order issues
- Operate pallet jacks or carts (if trained)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Warehouse/order picking experience is a plus
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and punctual
- Positive, team-focused attitude
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
- Repetitive motions and long periods of standing
