Molding Machine Mechanic – 1st Shift
Pay: $25–$35/hr

What You’ll Do
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on injection molding machines and mold-support equipment.
- Change out molds/tooling and handle single molds up to 50–100 lbs.
- Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues using prints/schematics.
- Rebuild components (valves, pumps, motors), repair leaks, and perform PM work to prevent downtime.
- Execute mold installs/removals, screw/nozzle cleaning, and equipment adjustments.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and keep work areas clean/safe.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team on larger repairs when needed.
What You Need
- 5 years manufacturing experience with injection molding or similar equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills (heaters, servos, hydraulics, electrical).
- Ability to read hydraulic/electrical/mechanical prints.
- CMMS experience (online work orders).
- Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.
Highly Valued Skills
- Experience with PLCs or ladder logic
- Knowledge of proactive vs. reactive maintenance practices
- Understanding of mechanical vs. electrical repair ratios
