Job Title: Mechanical Assembler – Great Fit for Entry-Level Mechanics & Automotive Techs

We’re Hiring Hands-On, Mechanically Inclined Individuals!
Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you’ll help build and assemble large ground support equipment. This role is an excellent entry point for individuals with mechanical experience—whether you’re a lube tech, tire tech, trade school graduate, or have worked on cars, trucks, or mechanical maintenance.
If you’ve worked in a garage, auto shop, or completed technical training, you’ll feel right at home here.
Shift Options & Pay:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM ( 7% shift premium)
- Base Pay: $20–$22/hour (based on experience)
- Annual Bonus: 10% of yearly earnings
- Union Eligibility: After 180 days
- Includes performance-based pay increases
- Additional union benefits available
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble mechanical components and systems using schematics, diagrams, and work instructions
- Use hand and power tools to fit, fasten, and install parts
- Inspect parts before and after assembly to ensure proper function and fit
- Perform basic troubleshooting during builds
- Work with your team and leads to stay on schedule
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Report defective or missing parts to supervisors
- Assist with final quality checks before shipment
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with vehicles, machinery, or mechanical systems (apprentice or shop experience counts)
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments
- Able to read and follow diagrams, schematics, and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Eager to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for long periods
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade or tech school training is a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
