Senior SAP ERP Consultant

E-Logic is seeking a Senior SAP ERP Consultant to support the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) in optimizing and maintaining enterprise SAP systems. This role requires deep expertise in SAP configuration, business process integration, and project leadership within complex, secure environments. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME), supporting system enhancements, troubleshooting, and modernization efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ERP configuration and support across modules such as:
• Production Planning (PP)
• Materials Management (MM)
• Sales & Distribution (SD)
• Finance (GL/Payroll)
• Provide end-to-end support for SAP system operations, including:
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution
• System upgrades (including SAP S/4HANA updates)
• Performance optimization recommendations
• Coordinate and support integration efforts, including:
• Third-party system configurations
• SAP API integrations
• U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing processes
• Act as a technical and functional lead, working closely with:
• Project managers
• Technical teams
• Business stakeholders
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to junior staff and end users
• Support project management activities, including:
• Task coordination
• Budget tracking
• Status reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure SAP solutions align with business needs and compliance requirements
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of SAP ERP experience (senior-level expertise expected)
• Hands-on experience with SAP configuration and module support
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades or support packs
• Strong understanding of:
• Supply chain processes
• Materials management
• Production planning
• Experience with:
• SAP integrations and APIs
• Third-party system interfaces
• Proven ability to:
• Troubleshoot complex system issues
• Provide strategic recommendations for system improvements
• Experience mentoring or training junior team members
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. federal systems or government environments
• Knowledge of U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing
• Prior experience in corrections, secure, or highly regulated environments
• Project management experience (Agile or traditional)
