Responsibilities of the Service Technician include, but are not limited to:
· Repairing/fabricating a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, gear reducers and related rotating equipment
· Troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect and repair a variety of rotating equipment including centrifugal pumps (both single and multi-stage), gear pumps, reciprocating pumps and metering pumps; Gear reducers, blowers (both vacuum and pressure), mechanical seals, and many other types of equipment
· Install equipment using manufacturer specifications ensuring proper alignment balance and tolerances
· Read and understand an IOM and BOM
· Manage and reconcile expense reports
· Perform responsibilities with little to no supervision and with little to no assistance
· Willing and able to travel for training and assignments
· Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications of the Service Technician include, but are not limited to:
· Must be mechanically inclined with at least 3 years' experience with rotating equipment repair and troubleshooting
· Prefer experience within a maintenance and repair position at an industrial facility such as a chemical/plastic plant or oil field related
· Must support drug free policy
· Must be customer focused and able to work with others
· Ability to furnish own basic hand tools for in-house assignments preferred
· Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States with an acceptable driving record according to company guidelines; and must pass a DOT physical
· Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and service manuals with ability to work with basic math
· Must have ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments
· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
· Demonstrated ability to act in a self-directed manner with no immediate supervision
· Must be willing to travel and work overtime
· Must be willing to work inside and outside as required
· Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods
· May be exposed to elements and outdoor temperatures

Physical Demand: Able to lift 50lbs. multiple times a day, lift 75 lbs. with assistance and push/pull 100lbs. with assistance
