Responsibilities of the Shop Manager include but are not limited to:
This position is a hands-on position. The willingness to perform repairs is a must
Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
Working Conditions: Shop Environment /Field /Oil & Gas/ Mine sites/ Refineries
Training/Certifications: N/A
Shift Time/Overtime: Must be able to work overtime as necessary
Travel: Travel to client sites. Must have an acceptable driving record according to company guidelines
Education: High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities of the Shop Manager include but are not limited to:
- Works closely with the Regional Service Manager to develop and accomplish long-range operating and service sales growth goals
- Willingness and ability to perform shop and field repairs when necessary.
- Plans and directs the work of the Service Technicians, placing particular emphasis on the successful completion of service jobs
- Continually improves and develops standards for the Service Department
- Assist ing the hiring process of new technicians as the region grows
- Administers safety, technical, and process training as required for department
- Organizes shop to accomplish operational goals and advises Regional Service Manager on staff requirements
- Monitors Service Department to ensure efficient use of man power and compliance with customers' requirements
- Works with Sales Professionals to prepare technical proposals and support customer needs
- Works with the Safety Coordinator to ensure that the service department operates according to Company Safety policies, both in the shop and in the field
- Experience in pump and/or other rotating equipment required
- Previous employee management experience
- Technical competency and familiarity with a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to motivate team and accomplish goals
