Responsibilities of the Lead Master Electrician include, but are not limited to:
- Travel to customer sites across the U.S. to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on skids, rotating equipment (including pumps), and industrial systems
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to controls, circuits, motor systems, and plant equipment, including pump and rotating equipment applications
- Lead and oversee electricians and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and meets quality standards
- Assist with BOM creation and review of electrical equipment/components
- Assist with conduit layouts and routing
- Assist with powering up and testing of equipment during FAT
- Review, inspect, and validate electrical work performed in the field
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and field personnel, particularly related to pump systems and rotating equipment
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
- Document troubleshooting efforts, repairs, and field activity
- 10 years of experience troubleshooting industrial controls, circuits, and plant equipment, including rotating equipment and pump systems
- 5 years of experience leading or supervising electricians and subcontractors
- Experience with Emerson Rosemount transmitters a plus
- Experience working with motors, drives, and pump-related electrical systems preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company guidelines
