Under general supervision, the Adult Education Career Counselor / Case Manager provides comprehensive educational, vocational, and case management support to adult learners enrolled in adult literacy, high school equivalency (HSE/GED), ESOL, and workforce training programs. This position is responsible for assessing adult students' skills and barriers, providing individual and group career guidance, developing individualized career pathways, and connecting students with community resources, post-secondary education, or employment opportunities. The role acts as a bridge between academic instruction, barrier reduction, and career placement to promote long-term self-sufficiency and retention.

EXPERIENCE AND
Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology, or related field or equivalent experience working with adults seeking career counseling.
- At least 6 months of counseling individuals or groups
- Candidates should have knowledge of data bases, excellent organizational skills, knowledge of community resources, and willingness to help others;
- Report writing, exceptional communication skills (internal and external), and excellent listening skills.
