Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, handle cash, credit cards, and digital payments with precision
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring food quality standards are met
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
• Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment operation to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous but training will be provided
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals are essential
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments like cafés or food industry settings
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, or kitchen operations is a plus
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in roles involving serving, cashiering, or food handling
