I am looking for early mornings. 4:00 am 4:30 am 5:00 am and 6:00 am are the times I am looking for. If you can not work at these early times, do not apply for this job. Must be dependable, energetic, and very FRIENDLY. I don't want to hire anyone for this position as a 2nd job. This can be a full time job. Responsibilities
- Open the restaurant on time, ensuring all areas are prepared for service including setting up stations and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly to support timely service during peak hours.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen spaces, and front-of-house stations before opening.
- Manage cash handling at the register using POS systems like Aloha or Micros, accurately processing transactions.
- Support guest relations through friendly interactions, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service.
- Help with food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations during opening shifts, including bussing tables and light cleaning as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience with restaurant operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, cleaning protocols, and basic meal preparation techniques.
- Experience in roles like host/hostess, catering support, or as a delivery driver can be beneficial.
