Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety standards are met
- Assist in food preparation tasks within the kitchen or café area, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure fast service without compromising quality
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or working in a quick service & fast food restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety regulations, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
