VP - Strategic Sourcing Technology

Job Summary

A leading financial services partner is looking for a VP - Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing initiatives across the End User Technology (EUT) and Networking/Telecom categories. This role is responsible for developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts to optimize cost, quality, and service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring deep category expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal IT and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing events including RFx processes, supplier identification, and competitive evaluations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and implement buying channels aligned with business needs.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Finance, Procurement Operations, and Third Party Risk.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
• Identify and pursue opportunities that deliver value and align with client needs.
• Drive change by challenging the status quo and building alliances across the organization.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of proven experience in sourcing End User Technology and Networking/Telecom categories
• Experience in financial services or similar regulated industries

Preferred:

• Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• High business acumen and ability to influence across all management levels
• Familiarity with RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and cost modeling techniques
• Ability to conduct market and supplier analysis and synthesize insights
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management
