Role Overview
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all supply chain activities at a large, complex manufacturing site. The position owns end‑to‑end site supply chain performance, including sourcing, materials, inventory, logistics, and supplier partnerships. The successful leader will work closely with site leadership, finance, and cross‑functional partners to ensure continuity of supply, cost effectiveness, and operational excellence in a capital‑intensive environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing supply chain operations within a manufacturing, advanced technology, or semiconductor setting
- Prior accountability for sizable operations, including oversight of large teams, significant budgets, or high‑volume production environments
- Hands‑on ownership of integrated site supply chain functions such as purchasing, materials planning, warehousing, inventory control, and logistics
- Proven experience leading both direct teams and layered management structures
- Ability to collaborate closely with senior site leaders and financial partners to support cost control, profitability, and capital investment planning
- Track record of influencing cross‑functional stakeholders to adopt new approaches or shift supply chain strategies in support of business needs
- Oversight of diverse spend categories at the site level, including direct materials, capital equipment spares, MRO, and external services
- History of delivering measurable savings through cost reduction, supplier restructuring, or value‑engineering initiatives
- Strong negotiation experience with strategic suppliers on high‑value or long‑term agreements
- Experience maintaining supply assurance while optimizing inventory levels in complex or high‑mix environments
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, performance metrics, and working capital controls
- Ability to respond decisively to supply disruptions or equipment downtime to protect production output
- Expertise in identifying and mitigating supplier risks such as sole‑source exposure, capacity constraints, or geopolitical challenges
- Understanding of critical supplier performance indicators within advanced manufacturing or fab‑style operations
- Experience building or enhancing supplier governance processes, including scorecards and structured business reviews
- Interest in leading supply chain operations at a single, highly complex site rather than a centralized or global category role
- Willingness to maintain a strong on‑site presence to support operations and site leadership
- Authorization to work within the United States, with flexibility to address relocation or commute considerations if applicable
