Associate Regional Sales Manager
A leading food manufacturer is seeking an Associate Regional Sales Manager to accelerate sales growth across key retail customers. This individual will lead customer strategy, own joint business planning, and execute high-impact commercial initiatives that drive category expansion and top-line performance
Responsibilities
- Drive net sales performance across a defined territory by executing strategic business plans aligned to portfolio and customer growth objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on account-level growth opportunities through strong collaboration with customer stakeholders.
- Own key customer relationships, engaging buyers, category managers, and supply chain partners to influence decision-making and drive results.
- Lead customer negotiations and ensure alignment on priorities, KPIs, and best-in-class execution.
- Apply category management expertise to inform assortment, shelving, and merchandising strategies, improving in-store and digital performance.
- Execute omni-channel sales strategies, including physical and digital merchandising, pricing, promotions, and trade initiatives.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in sales or commercial roles within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required.
- Experience working with retail customers, key accounts, or broker partners preferred.
- Strong analytical experience using syndicated data tools (e.g., NielsenIQ, Circana/IRI, Dunnhumby, Numerator).
- Ability to develop fact-based account strategies and execute against volume and revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
