The Maintenance and Reliability Manager is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving process improvements through Lean Manufacturing and cross-functional collaboration. As the site's primary technical expert, you will lead a team including a Maintenance Supervisor, technicians, and a apprentice.
- Lead and develop the maintenance team through coaching, Gemba walks, and mentoring the apprentice while strengthening cross-functional collaboration.
- Own equipment reliability by driving predictive maintenance, Asset Maintenance Plans, and root cause solutions to improve OEE, yield, and cost performance.
- Lead capital projects end-to-end, including planning, budgeting, vendor management, and safe execution.
- Manage the maintenance budget, MRO inventory, and contractor services to ensure cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure safety and compliance by leading LOTOTO, PSM, and environmental programs while promoting a strong safety culture.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7-10 years in manufacturing, including 5 years in engineering/reliability roles, with proven leadership of supervisors and technicians.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on troubleshooting ability with strong project management, budgeting, and vendor negotiation experience.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent communication, change management, and team development capabilities.
- Additional: Preferred certifications (Six Sigma, Lean, CMRP, CRL, ARP) and experience with CMMS (e.g., Maintenance Connection), SAP, and data systems.
